Our chapter has been servicing Queens County New York for over 60 years!  Here is where you can keep up with what we're doing and where we're getting it done!

The members of Epsilon Pi Omega Graduate Chapter warmly welcome you and thank you for taking time to visit our website.

Since our inception on May 13, 1950 Epsilon Pi Omega has  dedicated herself to the mission of our organization by actively engaging  and providing meaningful service to the Southeast Queens Community. We faithfully reach out and collaborate with the community to identify the needs and plan programs which address those needs while aligning with our National Program Initiatives.

Our membership in this chapter boasts over 200 college educated professional women continuing the legacy of service to all mankind. We are a sisterhood established on January 15, 1908 on Howard University Campus in Washington, DC. We are proud members of the oldest Greek letter organization established by African American Women.

Epsilon Pi Omega Chapter will celebrate sixty-five years of service on May 13, 2015.  We can proudly reflect on a long history of community service through our scholarships for high schools seniors and  programs in health, economic security, global poverty, and social justice and human rights.

The 2014-2018 International  Program focus as outlined by our International President, Dororthy Buckhanan Wilson,is Launching New Dimensions of Service.  Through these programs members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority will have an opportunity to use their talent and resources to address issues such as Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact in our local and  global

The signature program under the current administration is  ASCEND.  This youth enrichment program is designed to motivate, engage and assist high school students in reaching their maximum potential. ASCEND will focus on Achievement, Self-Awareness,Communication, Engagement, Networking and Developmental Skills.

We encourage you to peruse our website often for more information and updates regarding our community-based programs, activities and events that serve the needs of the Southeast Queens Community. 

Join us at events open to the public, we would love to have you help us continue to "make a difference" in our community as we provide Service to All Mankind.

In 1950, Thirty-two dynamic college-trained, professional women sought to perpetuate the traditions and ideals of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Their vision to improve the quality of life for the residents of the Queens community led them to form the Epsilon Pi Omega chapter.
